Baggy Ski Pants for Park, Freeski and All Mountain

SnowRipper makes baggy ski pants for skiers who need full movement, real warmth and a fit that holds up wherever they ski. From indoor domes and dry slopes to the Alps, our baggy ski pants are made for skiers who take their riding seriously. Loose fit, serious performance, no nonsense.

Why Skiers Are Choosing Baggy Ski Pants

Tight ski pants had their moment. Baggy ski pants are how park skiers, freeskiers and all mountain skiers have been riding for years now and for good reason. A loose fit means your knees go where they need to go and your hips move freely without your pants pulling against every turn or jump. SnowRipper baggy ski pants are cut with articulated knees so the fit works with your movement, not against it. There's enough room to layer thermals underneath and still fit comfortably over crash pants, knee pads and protective gear. We test our pants in the Alps at -20°C so when we say they're warm, we've actually been out there to prove it.

Built for Every Surface, Not Just Snow

Two of our team skiers, Woody Clark and Jacob Welsh, have been skiing in SnowRipper pants 3 to 4 days a week for two years. Not just on snow — on dry slopes and indoor domes too. If you've ever skied a dry slope you'll know the surface is basically a giant scrubbing brush. It shreds through cheap outerwear fast. The fact that Woody and Jacob are still in the same pants two years later tells you everything you need to know about how these are made.

Baggy Ski Pants vs Regular Ski Pants

Regular ski pants are fine if you're carving groomers in a racing tuck. But if you're hitting jumps, sessioning rails, riding park or just want to ski without feeling like your pants are vacuum sealed to your legs, baggy ski pants are a different experience entirely. More room to move, more comfort all day and a look that actually fits the way skiing feels when you're having fun. SnowRipper baggy ski pants work for all mountain too — the fit is generous enough for active skiing without being so loose it catches the wind on fast runs. How Should Baggy Ski Pants Fit

Baggy ski pants should feel roomy but not ridiculous. Enough space in the leg to move freely without flapping around. They should sit comfortably at the waist, come down over your ski boots and give you room to layer underneath without bunching up. The non-slip boot gaiters keep everything locked in place over your boots so snow stays out even when you're deep in it. If you can make a full tuck, pop a jump and get back up from a fall without your pants pulling anywhere, the fit is right. Not sure on sizing? Go up rather than down. You can always layer less, but you can't layer more if it's already too tight.

What You Get With SnowRipper Baggy Ski Pants

20,000mm waterproofing, fully taped seams and a 3-layer breathable shell keep the wet out no matter what the mountain throws at you. The micro-fleece lining keeps you warm all day without that sticky feeling you get with cheaper pants. Articulated knees for full movement, inner leg vents to dump heat fast when you need to, non-slip boot gaiters at the bottom and an adjustable waist at the top. Four secure pockets for your phone, lift pass, snacks and whatever else you're carrying up the mountain.

Two years on dry slopes with Woody and Jacob. Tested in the Alps at -20°C. Just the right amount of baggy.
