Since stepping onto a snowboard in 2022, his progression has been rapid, driven by determination and a passion for freestyle riding. He now competes on the international FIS circuit against professional riders, continuing to push his limits each season.
Laax stands out as Dimitri’s favourite resort, offering the perfect environment for progression and creativity. His riding style is defined by technicality and control, with standout tricks including the Switch Underflip and Back 7. Among his proudest achievements is claiming 1st place at the English Championships, marking a significant milestone in his competitive journey.

Off the mountain, Dimitri balances his demanding training schedule with regular school life, demonstrating the same dedication in the classroom as he does in the park. After a long day on snow, he refuels with a slice of pizza and a hot chocolate, while “Phone Numbers” by Dominic Fike provides the soundtrack to his sessions. If he were a snow creature, Dimitri would embody the sleek and cunning nature of an Arctic fox. Read his full story here or you can follow Dimitri’s journey on Instagram at @dimitri_snowripper
